Project Size: 7,000 sq. ft.
Bring new life to this intimately scaled 19th century warehouse in an unassuming residential neighbourhood in the Little Italy section of Toronto.
A small portion of the front faade was removed to accommodate two entrances: one to the reception for the ground floor office space and the other leading to the two upper levels used both as commercial and residential spaces. The glazed front of the ground floor accommodates a boardroom and serves as the public face of the building.
The juxtaposition of old brick warehouse stripped back to its bare essentials, reinforced with exposed steel, glass and polished concrete, adds elegance and simplicity of expression.
Furnished with both contemporary and antique furniture, the space is soothing, tasteful, and continental, with a dash of brio.
